Birding the Paradise
rufous---tailed-hummingbird.jpg

Ecuador is one of the premiere destinations for birding in the world. Nowhere else on the planet can you find this diversity in such a small country! Ecuador can boast of about 1630 species, and is the fourth richest bird country in the world. It has a great bio-diversity from sea level and up to more than 6000 metres.
The country owes much of this diversity to the many different types of flora to be found here. Coastal forest, rain forest and cloud forest provide plenty of different habitats for birds to live in.

Most bird watchers may already know that the closer you get to the equator, the more birds you will find. Ecuador is certainly no exception to the rule!

How to book?

Call us or email us at info@terrasenses.com  for more information on our featured trips & honeymoons or for a made to measure holiday.
A Terrasenses team member will answer you by e-mail within 48 hours. Once you choose a trip, we will send you the booking form you have to complete. You can choose to pay online by PayPal or by deposit (wire transfer). For departures outside 6 months travellers pay a deposit of 20% per person (which ever is greater) – for earlier departures a 40% deposit per person is asked and the total amount of the trip is due 90 days before departure.
For Destination Weddings bookings, we encourage you to book as soon as possible. Most Ecuadorian weddings book six months to one year in advance of the ceremony. The sooner we are contacted, the better we can accommodate your request. As soon as you know the date and time, the more chance you will have to secure the exact date and time you want for your Ecuadorian wedding ceremony. However, even if you decide last minute, please feel free to call us about availability. We will always try our best for you. We require a 30% non-refundable deposit that will secure the date, time and location. The letter of agreement must be signed and returned to confirm the booking along with the required 30% deposit payment. With Terrasenses and ETICA Events, there are no hidden costs. Please read our conditions.
