The Huaorani people
 huaorani-people.jpg
Located fourteen hours by canoe from the nearest road and four more hours by road to the nearest settlement, with a population of more than 100, in one of the most remote regions of the Ecuadorian Amazon, is the Huaorani community of Bameno. As we travel toward Bameno, we make our way through a thriving rainforest ecosystem, still home to such animals as Macaws, Tapirs, and Jaguars. Once in the community, we can observe one of the most untouched cultures left in the Ecuadorian Amazon region and you will live with their people, learn their way of live during your stay.
Terrasenses works together with the community to offer you the chance to see wildlife that can only be found in the remotest regions of the Amazon and to be immersed in a culture of proud people, fighting as their fathers did to preserve an ancient way of life, fighting to live free, to live Huaorani.

How to book?

Call us or email us at info@terrasenses.com  for more information on our featured trips & honeymoons or for a made to measure holiday.
A Terrasenses team member will answer you by e-mail within 48 hours. Once you choose a trip, we will send you the booking form you have to complete. You can choose to pay online by PayPal or by deposit (wire transfer). For departures outside 6 months travellers pay a deposit of 20% per person (which ever is greater) – for earlier departures a 40% deposit per person is asked and the total amount of the trip is due 90 days before departure.
For Destination Weddings bookings, we encourage you to book as soon as possible. Most Ecuadorian weddings book six months to one year in advance of the ceremony. The sooner we are contacted, the better we can accommodate your request. As soon as you know the date and time, the more chance you will have to secure the exact date and time you want for your Ecuadorian wedding ceremony. However, even if you decide last minute, please feel free to call us about availability. We will always try our best for you. We require a 30% non-refundable deposit that will secure the date, time and location. The letter of agreement must be signed and returned to confirm the booking along with the required 30% deposit payment. With Terrasenses and ETICA Events, there are no hidden costs. Please read our conditions.
